]]> After several weeks in the making, last week we released version 1.5 of MaxInbound, our popular plugin for easily building WordPress landing pages. This update coincided with the launch of maxinbound.com, our new website dedicated to MaxInbound.

MaxInbound 1.5 has a number of enhancements that not only improve the plugin in its current form, but also sets it up well for things we want to do in the future. Here are the improvements for MaxInbound 1.5:

  • Added a note to the SEO option on all landing page templates telling users to separate keywords with a comma.
  • Fixed the Select button for the custom money back guarantee upload image in Sales Letter Template 1.
  • Added support for form plugins that provide PHP functions, such as cformsII. This greatly enhances integration between MaxInbound and these other types of form plugins.
  • Added a System Info admin page. This page does two things:
    • Lets the user know whether or not the landing page templates files are in their correct location, and if not, instructions for how to fix it.
    • Displays useful system information that can be used in the Support Forums when needing help.
  • Updated all landing page templates for better responsiveness on various devices. This will help provide a much better mobile experience for any landing page created with MaxInbound.
  • Added more Google Web Fonts to the TinyMCE configuration, bringing the total to 20.

So while it’s not a massive list, version 1.5 is definitely an update all customers don’t want to miss. Enjoy.

Support Forums

From day one we’ve always handled support for MaxInbound through email only. It’s worked well and we’re good at answering emails quickly, but the problem with email is that it doesn’t scale very well. Putting a forum system in place allows us to spread out the support load while making the support questions and answers a lot more transparent.
